Camp Echo Weekly E-Newsletter Jan 27, 2002 ***** Camp Echo E-List Grows Longer ----------------------------- Many people responded to my preliminary mailing and request for additional names and E-mail addresses. Thanks to everyone who did so, the list grew this week from 75 to about 260. Send me more names and E-mail addresses! If your name appears twice, I have two E-mail addresses for you. If you only want one copy, let me know which address you prefer. If you want it sent to a different address, let me know. If your name is wrong, let me know. Camp Echo Alumni Board Forming ------------------------------ We are forming a group that will meet, in person, here in Evanston, four there will be one event each season. If you would like to join the Echo Alumni Board, let me know. Cahills Old & New ----------------- After seven seasons of use, we retired the Cahill pickup truck this fall. Recently, though, John Cahill (Jr and Sr) donated a replacement pickup! Rob Johnston was in town, and he and Brian McGinn fixed the taillights. We are looking for a hearty soul who is willing to drive the new truck up to camp. Oh, by the way, the cargo will be about two dozen 4' by 8' styrofoam bricks that were removed from the roof over the YMCA pool. Wish List --------- If you, or anyone you know, has any of these items to donate, let me know.
